Access, disability and special requirements information
1.Accessibility on the ground floor
A portable ramp is available to enable access to the Hotel Entrance, on request. All door ways and entrances to the bar, lounges, restaurant and function rooms are large enough to accommodate wheelchairs (minimum 85cm).
2.Disabled access toilets
We have a unisex disabled toilet available on the ground floor, with a doorway of 76cm. The facility includes hand rails, and an emergency pull cord alarm.
3.Staircases and access to the first and second floors
All staircases have handrails. We do as yet have lift access or a stair climbing machine.
4.Ground floor guest accommodation
Will be available from August 2011 when we open our hotel annex. Five of the new rooms will be fully accessible to wheelchair users.
5.Information for the visually impaired
All hotel information, including hotel menus, can be provided in a larger font on request.
The hotel accepts guide dogs and hearing dogs, in our function rooms, restaurant, lounge and bar areas and guest accommodation.
